Film and TV
My work in film and television includes documentary production, cultural programming, and broadcast media on both sides of the U.S.–Mexico border. I have served as director, producer, scriptwriter, and on-screen host for television series and documentary projects focused on art, music, culture, and border identities. These projects include long-running cultural TV series with approximately 100 episodes, as well as independent documentaries developed for regional and institutional audiences.
Through this work, I explore audiovisual narrative, intertextuality, and the rhetoric of the image, translating academic frameworks into accessible visual storytelling. My film and television projects prioritize cultural representation, community voices, and the use of sound and image as tools for meaning-making in public media contexts.
